泽西长毛兔是小型的宠物兔品种，外观较小可爱，双耳短小、直立，身体上的毛也比较长，颜色有很多种，通常来说都是比较深色的，整个身体显得圆滚滚的。

泽西长毛兔属于宠物兔，体型较娇小，标准体重为小于3.5kg，耳朵不超过3长，而毛则不短于1.5。此种类的标准体型为身体短小且圆润、头大且圆滚滚，头部周围长了一些长毛。耳朵的理想长度在6cm左右，眼睛也呈现圆形状。身体的毛发生长状态密集且多，理想长度为5cm到7.5cm左右。若泽西长毛兔有身体细长、脸部呈现细长状、耳朵的毛发稀疏、容易有产生毛球的毛等等的状况，即为不及格的泽西长毛兔。

一、长毛兔全价饲料的科学配方

玉米17%、麸皮24%、豆粕(熟)21%、进口鱼粉3%、活性酵母3%、草粉30%、食盐0.75%、蛋氨酸0.4%、多种维生素适量、微元素适量，畜禽用浓鱼肝油适量，每50千克饲料中添加喹乙醇30克。
