进入夏季之后我们要适当降低密度，有条件的更好是一只一笼，更多每个兔笼也不能够超过3只。夏季公兔的精液质量是会受到很大影响的，母兔配种的话容易出现流产、泌乳不足等各种不良现象。所以在夏季我们要暂停配种工作，保证种兔正常生长，在秋季等温度适宜的时候再进行。再做好环境的卫生工作，加强蚊蝇鼠害防治工作。就是疾病的防治了，夏季常见的有兔瘟、兔巴氏杆菌病等，都是需要我们着重注意的。
