选留好种兔；采用一次定的办法，即待剪二刀毛时挑选产量高、毛品质更好，毛密度全身丰满、分布均匀的1~2只留作种用，其余归入产毛群作商品兔。对选 作种用的必须饲喂全价营养饲料且长期稳定不变，以保证种兔的性状。
